1. Service description
Instituto Sapiência Ensino e Pesquisa LTDA (CNPJ 52.020.596/0001-95) — trading as Instituto Sapiência — is an accredited NCC Education study centre based in João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil. We deliver English preparation, NCC Education programmes (Level 2 to Level 7), UK university top-up routes and short professional courses.
2. Enrolment terms
Enrolment requires submission of a complete application, payment of any applicable enrolment fee, and acceptance of these Terms. Sapiência reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment where eligibility or entry requirements are not met, or where information provided is inaccurate.
3. Payment & fees
Programme fees, payment plans and refund windows are published per programme in the official prospectus and confirmed at enrolment. Prices indicated on the website are informational and are not binding until confirmed in the enrolment agreement signed by both parties.
4. NCC accreditation disclaimer
Sapiência is an NCC Education-accredited centre (centre number publicly verifiable in the NCC Education study-centre directory). NCC Education qualifications are regulated by Ofqual in the United Kingdom. UK university awards (BSc, BEng, MBA top-ups) are conferred by the awarding university (e.g. University of Greater Manchester, Cardiff Metropolitan University) — not by Sapiência. Sapiência does not award degrees.
5. Student responsibilities
Students agree to attend timetabled sessions, submit assessments by deadlines set by NCC Education and the awarding university, abide by Sapiência's academic integrity, anti-plagiarism and safeguarding policies, and treat staff and peers with respect.
6. Intellectual property
All teaching materials, the Sapiência name and logo, and all content on this website are protected by Brazilian and international copyright. NCC Education materials remain the property of NCC Education Limited. No content may be redistributed without prior written authorisation.
7. Limitation of liability
Sapiência is not liable for the candidate's individual academic outcomes, UK visa decisions, third-party employer placement decisions, or indirect or consequential losses. Liability is capped at the fees actually paid by the student in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Dispute resolution & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The parties elect the courts of the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil as the exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute arising from this agreement, waiving any other however privileged.
